She is survived by: her stepchildren, Carrie Lynn Hutchens (Pete) of Reidsville, NC, Karen Lea Gauldin of Pelham, NC and Loyd Irvin Gauldin, Jr.; her siblings, Judy Adkins Simmers of Salem, VA and Charles Thomas Adkins (Janet) of Keeling, VA; her grandchildren, Travis, Patrick, Randall Custer (Brittany), Hunter (Katlyn) and Payton Rose; her great grandchild River Custer; her aunt Goldie Barbour; and her siblings' children, Holly Jones (Mike) and Cole Adkins (Laura).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel (511 Church Ave, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
