He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd E. Hanks and Juanita Brumfield Hanks. He is survived by: his wife Cora Witt Hanks; his children, Eddie Hanks and Victoria Hanks; his uncle Darrell Brumfield; his aunt Loretta Burns; his cousins, Dariel Burnett, Merriel Graham and Raleigh Dee Montgomery; his friend Donald Barts; and his pet Tigger Tat.
A reception was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swicegood Funeral Chapel (564 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541).
