He is survived by: his wife Betty Adkins Gauldin; his children, Carrie Lynn Hutchens (Pete) of Reidsville, NC, Karen Lea Gauldin of Pelham, NC and Loyd Irvin Gauldin, Jr. of Pelham, NC; his sisters, Peggy Davis of Mountain Hill, VA, Katie Nunn of Ringgold, VA, Joan Wyatt (Hugh) of Ringgold, VA and Mary Lou Gauldin of Ringgold, VA; and his grandchildren, Travis Gauldin, Patrick Hutchens, Jr., Randall Custer, Hunter Gauldin, Payton Rose Hutchens and River Custer.
