With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Edward Carter of Keeling, Virginia, born in Franklin, Virginia, who passed away on November 29, 2020 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Alicia Hawker Carter. He is survived by: his daughter Brandi Carter Neil (Matthew) of Danville, VA; his siblings, Leslie Carter (Margie) of Rocky Mount, VA, Jeffery Carter of Palm Bay, FL and Rhonda Gusler of Rocky Mount, VA; his grandchildren, Kaylee Kendrick and Kassidy Neil; his stepgrandson Colton Neil; and his close friend Glenda Dooley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
