She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Herman and Mary Elizabeth Dorman Emerson; her husband James Edward "Buzzy" Derrer; and her daughter Patricia Schroeder. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Moyer, Karen Boyette (John), James Derrer, Jr. (Liz) and Rose Stroupe; and her niece Judy Smith. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews.
