She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph H. Sheets and Pauletta Sheets (Horn). She is survived by: her husband Arthur W. Mitchell; her brother Charles B. Sheets (Norma); her niece Judy Sheets; her nephews, Marty Sheets (Cindy) and Mike Sheets (Patty); and her sister-in-law Ellie Downs (Doug). She is also survived by numerous cousins, close friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church, music scholarship fund or the Rockingham Educational Foundation.
