With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Agnes Reed Wilkinson Hawthorne of Kenbridge, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Wilkinson and Tommy Reed Wilkinson; her husband Lenwood Cephas Hawthorne; her son Lenwood Cephas Hawthorne, Jr.; and her sisters, Nancy Shell and Helen Daniel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Wilkinson (Dennis), Becky Berthiaume (Scott) and Dale Hawthorne; her grandchildren, Rebekah Hawthorne (Josh), Michael Wilkinson, Daniel Wilkinson (Alex), Hailee Whitby, Kasey Whitby and Nathan Whitby; her great grandchildren, Lexi and Cordelia; and her sisters, Edna Gibbs and Harriett Cabaniss (Julian).
