As Betty Snead departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Betty Snead may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Betty Snead leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Llewellyn Landon Snead, Jr. and Hazel Thomas Snead; and her brother Llewellyn L. Snead III. She is survived by: her husband Joe D.; her sons, John Franklin Arthur, Dowell Farrar and Kelly Farrar; and her sisters, Ann Snead Poole and Nancy Snead Chappell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery.
