Rachael Powell Tench Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rachael Powell Tench of Kenbridge, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Gardner Powell, Sr. and Julia Samko Powell; her siblings, Nancy Stanley and Phillip Powell, Jr.; her grandson Ched Bungard; her granddaughter-in-law Jessica Tench; and her friend Doris Jones Shields.
She is survived by: her children, Trina Bungard (Ron) of Scottsdale, PA, John Tench, Jr. of New Jersey, Merrill Tench (Patsy) of Prince George, VA, Keith Tench (Stephanie) of Kenbridge, VA and Lorelie Phillips (Paul) of Danieltown, VA; and her brother Raymond A. Powell (Patti) of Hopewell, VA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
