He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Eddie and Irene Dailey Jones; and his siblings, Robert Lee Jones, Addie Mae Turner, Carrie C. Williams, Florene M. Biggers, Shirley A. Coleman and Lawrence E. Jones.
He is survived by: his niece Lissa (James); and his siblings, Florence Oliver of Bowie, Frank D. Jones of Kenbridge and Josephine Ghee of Hillsborough. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and other dear relatives and friends.
