It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen Irwin Morel of Keswick, Virginia, born in Warner Robins, Georgia, who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Christopher Findlay Irwin, Jr. and Kathleen Chambers Irwin; and her husband Abel Justin Morel. She is survived by : her son Jared Morel (Emma); her grandson Justin of Charlottesville, VA; her siblings, Chris Irwin (Ray) of Sandersville and Pendery McCoy (Scotty) of Sandersville; her nephew Chris; and her nieces, Meredith, Leigh and Ivy.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA to honor Kathy's lifelong love of animals.
