He is survived by : his significant other Mildred McNeil Faucett of Keswick, VA; his children, Karen Hetherington (Alexander) of Vienna, VA, Laura Schafer (Russell) of San Ramon, CA and Thomas Faucett Jr. (Kathryn) of Mooresville, NC; his grandchildren, Sarah, Thomas, Matthew, William, Tommy, Brooks, Samuel and Noah; and his siblings, Omar Truett Faucett Jr. (Kathy) of Jasper, AL and Sarah Faucett Cobb of Northport, AL. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Episcopal Church in Keswick, VA or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
