We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2024, at the age of 85, Garland Bailey Dix (Keysville, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Betty Jean; his parents, Malcolm and Helen; his siblings, Thomas (Jewel), Robert "Boss" (Becky) and Martha Hammock (Bobby); his brother-in-law Harry Edwards; and his son-in-law David Ruehrmund.

He is survived by : his children, Annette Ruehrmund, Cindy, Timothy and Yvonne; his grandson Cage; his stepgrandchildren, Michelle Dunn and Craig Dunn; his sister Doris Edwards; his niece Susan; and his nephews, Steve Hammock, Bobby, Ricky and Greg.
