He was predeceased by: his parents, George Arnold Smith and Iris Smith; and his brother David Smith. He is survived by: his daughters, Shelley (Jeff Skeete), Rachel (John Ripley), Megan Ihlefeld (John Provo) and Sarah (Morri Creech). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
