He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan; his children, Gordy Lyon (Cheryl), Gail Vahlbusch (Eric) and Karen Hufziger (Mark); his grandchildren, Carly (Aaron), Jennifer (Ben), Kevin, Andrew (Allissa), Julie (Ben), Sarah, Diana (Aaron), Steven (Marisa) and John (Jenna); his great grandchildren, Brendan, Jaret, Drew, Aiden, Rhyder, Khyle, Hannah, Genevieve, Fiona, Noelle, Natalie, Abby, Ryan, Otto, Hailey, Ford and Jett; and his daughter-in-law Jeanne Rhodes.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Orchard Lake Community Church (5171 Commerce Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48324). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
