She was predeceased by: her parents, James Haydon and Myrtle Haydon. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Barnes Hughes; her son Robert Hughes, Jr. (Nancy); and her pets, Phoebe and Abby.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Warsaw United Methodist Church (287 Main St, Warsaw, VA 22572). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
