He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer (Blanche Springer) and Carl. He is survived by: his wife Janice B. Springer; his son Jay W. Faulconer (Farran) of Isle; his siblings, George W. Springer (Carol) of Lynchburg and Inez Smith of Spotsylvania; and his grandsons, Ben of Charleston and Will Faulconer of Charleston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
