The family will receive friends from 2p-4p on Wednesday, April 13 at Storke Funeral Home, King George Chapel.
Burial at Quantico will be at a later date.
James Arthur Hill Jr. was born on September 5, 1955, in Pontiac, Michigan. Jim (as he was known to his friends and family) passed away peacefully at home on April 2nd, 2022 in King George, VA.
Jim was a true friend and family man and spent his time devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter. He was also a lover of nature and animals, caring for several animal friends over the years.
When not home watching sports (all sports), Jim could often be found at the dog park with his German Shepard, Hanny. He felt at peace outdoors and at the grill cooking for family and friends. He was a true Renaissance man – Someone who appreciated life and exemplified kindness.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents James Arthur Hill Sr. and Margaret Hill (formally Kilpatrick). He is survived by a loving family: wife Lisa, daughter Noelle (husband Maurice), sons Dave (Jessica) and Lenard (wife Amber), grandchildren Domonique (Aiden), Caleb (Sara), Jordan, Christopher, Kaiden, Liam, Sophia, Xander, Xadrian, Jylin, and Tristen, his great-granddaughter Miyah, six siblings in Connecticut, and extended family. Jim had roots everywhere and all will miss him dearly.
