With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John S Cheadle of King George, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Ruth Cheadle and Thomas S. Cheadle; and his wife Thelma Chenault Cheadle. He is survived by: his children, Charlene Monroe (Jason), Melanie Jewell and Mark Cheadle; his grandchildren, Phillip Gibbs III (Chrissy) and Karen Turcios (Jose); his close friends, Carroll and Janice Springer; and his friends, Ellen Brown and Shawn Palivoda. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Storke Funeral Home (11089 James Madison Pkwy, King George, VA 22485). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
