He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shelton and Katherine Shelton; his wife Velma; and his son Tommy. He is survived by: his daughter Sarah Shepard (Jimmy); his granddaughter Amber Thompson (Jeffery); his great grandchildren, J. Alexander and Judah Thompson; his siblings, Robert Shelton (Gwen), Pete Shelton, Norman Shelton (Carolyn), Thelma Wesely and Shirley Woods; and his sister-in-law Anne Shelton (late Stanley). He is also survived by His nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
