He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Smith and Helen Smith; and his brother Roger Smith. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Wilen-Smith; his sons, Connor and Duncan Smith; and his siblings, Karen Brennan (Art), Eileen Tempero (Jim), Annette Hanke (Steve) and Gary Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
