He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Harmsen and Elaine Harmsen; his in-laws, LeRoy and Hazel Rahn; and his brother-in-law Donald Raether.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Rahn; his sisters, Linda (Don Zastrow), Barbara Raether, Marie Rahn, Nancy (Marty VanderVelde), Jean Kok and Lila (John Buytendorp); and his siblings' children, Jennifer, Mark Franz, Michael, Bonnie Zastrow, Heather, DJ Wright, Ryan Raether, Rebecca, Andrew Belt, Ashley, Brandon Balistreri, Stuart, Megan VanderVelde, Mike, Shannon Kok, Sydney VanderVelde, Jack Buytendorp, Katelin Buytendorp and Ben Buytendorp.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home (201 E Jefferson St, Waupun, WI 53963). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at the Forest Mound Cemetery (225 E Spring St, Waupun, WI 53963).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Peace Lutheran Church's Major Building Repair Fund, 5590 Kings Highway, King George, VA 22485.
