He was predeceased by : his parents, Reverend Travis H. Yon, Sr. and Callie Bell Lolley Yon; his siblings, Hurlon Yon and Mary Carolyn Boyett; and his mother-in-law Patsy White Golightly (Grandma Pooh).
He is survived by : his wife Patti; his children, April Lyn Papenfuss, Travis Joshua Yon and Keith W. Burrell (Shawn); his grandchildren, Chadd Collins Burrell, Angelica Coates Pitre (Ryan), Meagan Breanne Burrell, Jolee Camille Coates, Trent Jarrett Yon, Samuel Robert Coates, James Howell Yon (Bubby) and Lincoln Cain Yon; his sister Fair Evelyn Harrell; and his great grandchild Oakley Rae Pitre.
If friends or family wish to remember him in a special way, he would have loved to know donations were made in his name to St. Joseph's Indian School non-profit.
