He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine Della Rose; his children, Judy Ann Rose, Marie Rose Hubbard and Barry Michael Rose; and his son-in-law Douglas B. Hubbard.
He is survived by: his daughter Anita J. Rose (Jack Frazier); his grandchildren, Dana Bailey, James Frazier and Carrie Braxton; his great grandchildren, Delaney Frazier, Savannah Bailey, Jackson Frazier and Easton Frazier; his brother Lawrence Godfrey Rose of Colonial Beach; and his sister-in-law Teresa Rose.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
