He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Childress and Ruby Stewart-Childress; and his wife Sandy. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle (Chuck) and April; his grandsons, Jason and Jackson; his siblings, Garland and Linda; and his pet Boss. He is also survived by his family and friends as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and true friend.
