He is survived by: his fiancée Joyce Dobyns; his children, Brenda Hinson Paterson (Bruce), Elizabeth King (Michael), Donald King (Lynn) and Margaret Lyons; his grandchildren, Art Jenkins (Shelby), Eric Jenkins (Lauren), Karen Jenkins (Robert), Megan Fahed (Chris), Sean King (Lindsey), Sara King (Corey), Ryan King (MaKayla), April Robinson and Shanda Hinson; his great grandchildren, Levi, Oliver Jenkins, Savannah Nance, Brayden, Mason Butler, Emma, Owen Fahed, Peyton King, Maverick Gartner, Mavis, Riley King, Addison Hinson, Rylynn Balderson and Harry Wyman; his siblings, Johnny King (Betty Lou) and Katherine Smith (Leroy); and his caregivers, Pam Wilkins, Tiffany Fisher and Brooke Rose.
