He is survived by: his daughters, Michele Sykes of Knightdale, NC and Roxann Sykes of Raleigh, NC; his granddaughter Destiny Branch of Burlington, NC; and his siblings, Helena Satterfield of La Crosse, VA, Thelma S. Jones (James) of Brodnax, VA, Wanda Brown of Richmond, VA, Bettie Jones of La Crosse, VA and Alvin C. Sykes (Jessie) of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
