He was predeceased by: his father Brady Byard Lyons; and his brother Gary Stephen Lyons. He is survived by: his mother Eva June Quesenberry Lyons; his son Luke Lyons (Courtley Peaks); his siblings, Karen (Curt Carlson), Donna Lyons, Gene (Becky Lyons), Freddie (Sherri Lyons) and Eddie (Becky Lyons); and his close friends, Jamie and Jason. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Home (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the family to assist in medical expenses.
