He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bryan and Gladys C. Bryan; and his former wives, Mary Sheehan Bryan and Patsy McCarty Bryan. He is survived by: his wife Jean Cavanaugh Bryan; his children, Kathy McCarty Breese (Tom) of King George, Billy McCarty (Cheryl) of Lancaster and Tim Bryan (Kat) of Hampton; his grandchildren, Amanda McCarty, Katrina Bryan, Mary Bryan and Timmy Bryan; and his great grandchild Olivia.
