We are sad to announce that, on December 26, 2025, at the age of 91, Clara Violet Spangler Sutphin of Laurel Fork, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Calvin and Mandy Webb Spangler; her son Michael Huston Sutphin; and her siblings, Hazel, Recie, Elsie, Mattie, Mary, Ruth, Garland, Arnold, Irene, Annie of Marvin, JC, Marie, Don, Vivian, Steve and Calvin.
She is survived by: her daughter Vickie Sutphin Boyd (Stacy) of Laurel Fork; her grandson Jared Boyd of Floyd, VA.; and her husband Huston. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
