It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patty Jean Sutphin Stanley of Laurel Fork, Virginia, who passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tazwell and Myrtle Ocie Moles Sutphin; her husband Eldon Ray Stanley; and her siblings, Ronnie Sutphin, Arvin Sutphin, Lesten Sutphin, Winford Sutphin, Wayne Sutphin, Nulan Sutphin, Oleta Keith, Bernice Kimble, Florris Poff and Gwyna Hylton.

She is survived by: her children, Charles Stanley of Laurel Fork, Jeffrey (Glynda Stanley), Lisa (James Foley) and Patricia (James Goad); her grandchildren, Rusty (Sarah Stanley), Carrie (Nathan Harris), Robert (Bethany Stanley) and Erika Goad; her great grandchildren, Allison and Eli; her great great grandchild Jamison; and her close friends, Linda Quesenberry and Shirley Turner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Pine View Cemetery.
