It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Moore Callis (Lawrenceville, Virginia), who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Janet Moore has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Moore and Christine Moore. She is survived by: her husband David Callis; her daughters, Linda Callis and Joan Scott (Norman); and her grandchildren, Curtis and Indianna Scott.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home and Crematory (410 Windsor Ave, Lawrenceville, VA 23868).
