She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe King and Bonnie King; and her husband T. O. Mayton. She is survived by: her children, Mitzi Mayton Pearce (Chris) and T. J. Mayton (Melissa); her grandchildren, Tim S. Pearce, Gillian and Alexis Mayton; and her siblings, Faye Martin (Harry) and Jeff King (Carolyn). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home and Crematory (410 Windsor Ave, Lawrenceville, VA 23868).
