He is survived by: his children, Beverly Myers (Sam) and Roderick Gibbons of Freeman, VA; his caregiver Jackie Layton; his brothers, Royal Gibbons, Jessie Gibbons Freeman (Celestine) and Walter Gibbons (Evelyn); his close friend Jennie Ann White; and his friend Sam Pulley. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
