He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Meredith, Sr. and Julia G. Meredith; his brothers, Frank, John Lee and Robert Meredith, Jr.; and his nephew Tito Jackson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lacy "Sis" Macklin (late Monroe) of Dolphin, VA, Dorothy Hite (late Lewis) of South Hill, VA, Geraldine Hicks (James) of Alberta, VA., James "Roy" Meredith (Judy Ann) of Lawrenceville, VA, William "Fatty" Meredith (Brenda) of Warfield, VA, Leon "Lee" Meredith (late Delores) of Brodnax, VA and Randolph "Moon" Meredith (Jacqueline) of Brodnax, VA.; his good buddies, George "Ploochie" Harrison and Elaine Hite; and his cousin Herbert Morgan, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
