She is survived by: her daughter Karen McMurray (Jack) of Gate City, VA; her granddaughter Mandi Lewis (Robbie); her great grandchild Desmond Sykes Lewis of Gate City, VA; her sisters, Sue S. Taylor of Lebanon, VA and Jeane S. Linkous (Don) of Abingdon, VA.; her close friend Carol Clifton; Al and Janice Walls.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Combs-Hess Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel (291 Fincastle Rd, Lebanon, VA 24266). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
