She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Robert Vencill, Sr. and Stella Marie Cox Vencill of Belfast; her brother Paul Vencill Jr.; her son-in-law Brent Lockhart; and her parents-in-law, Joe and Irene Gillespie.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Gillespie Jr. of Lebanon; her children, Teresa Annette Lockhart of Abingdon and Joseph Gillespie III (Sandra Walton Gillespie) of Fernandina Beach; her sister-in-law Nancy Price Vencill of Belfast; and her grandchildren, Joshua Lockhart, Caleb Lockhart, Hannah Lockhart, Catherine Gillespie, Gabrielle Gillespie and Isaac Gillespie. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and special cousins.
