She was predeceased by: her parents, Giles Beckley and Mildred Puckett Carter; her nephew Derek Allen Carter; and her great-nephew Jameson Allen Loudy. She is survived by: her son Seth Padgett (Laura) of Abingdon; her brother Allen Carter (Diane) of Lebanon; her niece Kayla Loudy of Abingdon; her nephew Wesley Carter of Lebanon; her great-nieces, Dera and Demi Loudy; and her great-nephew Dane Loudy.
