He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Gobble and Cresy Kennedy Gobble; and his brother Mark Gobble. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ray Gobble; his children, Billy D. Gobble (Mary), Sammy Gobble (Peggy), Bobby Gobble, Brenda Helbert (Paul) of Lebanon, Debbie Hess (Kevin) of Lebanon and Bonnie Gore (Dewey) of Bristol, Tenn.; and his pet Frisky. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owens Funeral Service (7 Tate Ave, Lebanon, VA 24266). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Gobble Family Cemetery (4767 Moccasin Valley Rd, Lebanon, VA 24266).
