It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby B. Chafin (Lebanon, Virginia), who passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Augustus Chafin and Anna Mae Campbell Chafin; his wife Vera Elizabeth Chafin; and his siblings, Avon Chafin, Lois Chafin, Billie Ann Chafin King, A. B. Chafin and Shirley Chafin Barnette.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vera Lynn Chafin Musick (Chris) and Angela Chafin Gray (Jim); his grandchildren, Haley Brooke Watson (Matt), Landon Christopher Musick (Makayela), Kara Ann Gray, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Gray, Nathan Blaine Musick and Kaden William Gray; his great grandchildren, Mila Watson and Cooper Musick; and his sister-in-law Mary Helen Chafin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
