She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Earl Childress and Ethel Bartley Childress; her husband Bill Lambert; and her siblings, Betty Bustamonte, Debbie Paul and Buddy Childress.

She is survived by: her sons, Kent Lambert (Karen) and Shannon Lambert (Lisa); her brother Bill Childress; her grandchildren, Jessica Lambert and Kira Lambert; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Paul and Nancy Childress.
