With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Celeste Rutherford of Lebanon, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2026 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore William Abolin and Velma Mae Roberts; her stepmother Claire Keebaugh Abolin; and her sister Debbie Goff. She is survived by: her son William M. Rutherford (Ashley); her siblings, Nancy Abolin Dunst, Linda Abolin Perez and Craig Roberts Abolin (Cynthia); her nieces, Christina Vickers, Jennifer L. Yeaw and Keara Axelrod; her nephew Noah Axelrod; and her great-niece Chelsie Crider.
