She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Hale and Gladys Dye Hale; her husband Brian Smith; and her siblings, Glenda Dye, Martha Musick, Fred Hale and Bobby Hale.
She is survived by: her sons, Teddy Hampton and Scott Hampton (Chasty); her grandchildren, Olivia and Benjamin Hampton; and her siblings, Sandra Combs, Emily Combs and Stan Hale.
