Though David may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Ferrell Barton; his stepfather Gerald Lyons; and his sister Tina Marie Barton. He is survived by: his mother Victoria Ruth Stevens Lyons; his siblings, Jeanetta Barton (Tony) and Anthony Barton (April); his nephews, Jarrod Barton, Hunter Barton and Anthony Chase Barton; and his pets, Gypsy and Bella. He is also survived by several cousins, other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Council Community Center (1125 Quinn Branch Rd, Honaker, VA 24260).
