He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Duval Harrison and Helen Stallard Harrison; his wife Nancy Jane Harrison; his son James Richard Harrison; and his siblings, Raymond Harrison and Faye Bays.

He is survived by: his daughter Pam Dye; his grandchildren, Kristy Hess (Josh), James Harrison (Crystal), Jeremy Harrison and Heather Harrison; his great grandchild Natalee Jane Hess; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Weddle and Bill Warner.
