He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Hicks and Florence Robinson Hicks; his wife Euna Mae Oxedine Hicks; and his son Alfred Lee "Tom" Hicks. He is survived by: his children, Frances Hollyfield, Richard Hicks (Martha) and Florence "Flossie" Maxwell; his niece Nancy Foster; his grandson Bruce McGee; and his great-niece Amayah Brown. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
