He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bailey; his children, Dawn Sims (Buddy), Jonathan Bailey, James "Bo" Bailey (Jessica), Neil Robinson (Tasha) and Jennifer Lawson (Brandon); his grandchildren, David, Trinity, Alexis, Lillian, Sydney, Cole, Braedyn, Broadie, Kasey, Kylie, Ian and Ty; his great grandchildren, Joseph, Jonah, Ryett and Raylan; his sisters, Helen Kress and Patty Nelson; and his siblings-in-law, Sheila Gibson and David Breeding (Lisa). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Combs-Hess Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel (291 Fincastle Rd, Lebanon, VA 24266). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:20 AM at the Combs-Hess Funeral Service (291 Fincastle Rd, Lebanon, VA 24266). A burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Temple Hill Memorial Park (2529 Memorial Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224).
