He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Dye and Nancy Dye. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Dye; his children, Matthew Dye (Ashton) of Lebanon, VA and Miranda Sproles (Josh) of Abingdon, VA; his siblings, Eddie Dye (Teressa) of Knoxville, TN and Debbie Rhea (Ronnie) of Myrtle Beach, SC; his sister-in-law Karen Rhea (Denver) of Cleveland, VA.; and his grandchildren, Aiden Dye, Carter Sproles and Emily Sproles. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
