With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Cook (Lebanon, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kemper Stoots and Grace Hale Stoots; and her siblings, Scottie Stoots (Verna), Thurman Stoots (Lucille), Christine Compton (Donald), Nadine Hess (Raymond) and Malissa Plott (Sylvan).
She is survived by: her husband Donald Cook; her son Bryan Cook; and her sibling's children, Sondra Massie, Judy Reeves (Jerry), Kemper Hess (Sherry) and Paige Stoots.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ketron Memorial Gardens (Lebanon, VA 24266).
