He was predeceased by: his parents, Elihue Roscoe and Iskey Presley Breeding; his wife Betty Stepp Breeding; his son Ray Anthony "Tony" Breeding; and his siblings, Earnie Breeding, Edsel Breeding, Nadine Breeding and Evelyn Breeding.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Brock of Spartanburg, Sandra Compton (Buck) of Lebanon, Wayne Breeding of Hendersonville, Kim Cheatham (Bruce) of Hendersonville and Brenda Tolson of Camden, Ohio; his grandchildren, Justin Breeding, Amos Tolson, Kendra Cheatham, Chance Cheatham and Chelsea Sartin; his great grandchildren, Aiden Tolson, Ryleigh Sartin, Liam Sartin, Brianna Parris, Kimber Parris and Levi Parris; and his siblings, Jama Compton, Newacca Morene "Moe" Vandyke, Drema Ray (Leck), Virginia Money, Vonda Wilkerson (Paul), Keithel Breeding, Rannie Breeding and Harliss Breeding (Mickey). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
